![]() Pay once, never pay again, and it's easily 10x better than WoW just from playing the beta weekends. The Total War games are as good as RTS games get, and if you ever think of going in to the MMO space, pick up Guild Wars 2 in August. Also, if you're in to old school RPGs, get Neverwinter -hts 1 and 2 plus expansions. ARMA 2 is a hyper-realistic military shooter, but the Dayz mod turns it in to an online zombie survival sandbox. Killing Floor and Left 4 Dead are zombie game kings, and if you want some really gritty survival horror, get ARMA 2 and the Dayz mod. The Witcher is a great RPG series, Fallout and TES never go amiss on PC (mods mods mods mods mods mods), and most of the Battlefield games are awesome (especially Battlefield 2, the PC exclusive one, not Bad Company 2). Garry's Mod is always good fun, and get any Half-Life games you can, since they can be used in Garry's Mod (it's a huge sandbox, it's great), but the HL games are just amazing on their own. Those 2 games will ease you in to PC gameplay pretty nicely. ![]() CS:S is a lot harsher than TF2, as TF2 going free brought a lot more new players in. ![]() The thing about most online PC games is that the playing standard is a LOT higher, since you have a lot of extremely sad people who hone their skills on their super-sensitive mice and have reaction times of demi-gods. Hmm, well good entry games are Counter Strike: Source and Team Fortress 2. ![]() Haha, I have to keep replying to this comment from so many purple lines. ![]()
